The Austrian Center of Digital Production (CDP) supports companies in the digitization and automation of discrete manufacturing and production processes. There is also a special focus on the needs of SMEs and the tasks that result from processing small batches. The competence portfolio ranges from the virtual mapping of products and production systems to the automation of construction tasks, machine-to-machine communication, including sensor integration, to integration with and in IT systems and the consideration of socio-economic aspects. CDP is currently cooperating with over 60 partners from industry and science in this area.
